Our church family is actively engaged in sharing the true story of Jesus, both locally and globally. It’s at the core of who we are.

Jim & Kathy Tierney
Tierney Christian Mission | Western Pokot, Kenya

 

Jim and Kathy Tierney have served the Pokot people through spiritual and life skills training. A number of churches have been planted in the Pokot region, and there are a handful of pastors overseeing these churches.

Despite recent setbacks and discouragement, Jim will be returning for a 10-day trip accompanied by three board members. Their focus is on pastoral training and facility assessment. In addition, they will travel to Turkana Land in northern Kenya (bordering Ethiopia).

PRAYER REQUESTS:

- Pray for safe travel and favor with government officials and local peoples.
- Pray for wisdom and discernment for Jim and Kathy and their board leadership.
- Pray that God’s word will take firm root among the Pokot people.
