WHAT: Men's 'Smoked and Baked' Adventure Retreat REGISTER NOW
WHERE: Paradise Trail Lodge
WHEN: Saturday, July 9th; 9am
Schedule:
9am / Bacon & Coffee
9:30am / Adventure activities begin...and should last 3-4 hours
3pm / BBQ - Richard's ribs, baked beans and slaw
As you proceed through registration, you will need to "choose your own adventure". Here are your options:
Off-pavement 4WD/AWD drive: A follow-the-leader drive through the beautiful country on the west side of Mt. Hood. This is not a serious 4WD adventure... these types of roads require a minimum ground clearance of 6 1/2 inches. There will be some mud, some potholes but no brush threatening to scrape up your vehicle.
Fly fishing/learning how to fly fish: With Elder/Rabbi/fly-fisherman- extraordinaire Gary Rosing on the beautiful Salmon River. Gary has a small amount of gear to sacrifice to new and prospective fly-fishing converts.
Hiking: There are several great hiking trails, varying in length and difficulty, within 2-15 minutes of the lodge. Maps will be available.
Hanging out: If you are not into any of the above options, you can show up anytime throughout the day with a camp chair and sit around with the guys. Don't miss the BBQ, though...
*Actual adventure activity offerings will be determined by the number of guys who register for each. You can only sign up for one... choose wisely.
