Redemption is the theological cornerstone of Paul’s letter, declaring that humanity is justified freely by God’s grace through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. Despite universal sin, believers are bought back - redeemed - from the penalty of sin and declared righteous through faith, not works. What a wonderful promise to keep in the forefront of our hearts and minds as we continue to celebrate our Risen King!
